I was thinking in the car on the way home that one day I might have to get a tattoo on each shoulder/top-of-arm. I like this for one of them --

Tamaxxx is a great artist, whoever they are. They are so hard to track down and find out much about them. Maybe that's their point. I think I'd choose another from this lovely artist. The picture above is one I've thought about in tattoo terms before but wondered if it was too dark. I don't think so now. To me it encompasses my hopeful move to Sydney. I know I'll be scared and a bit lonely but that's no reason not to take the journey. In fact it's more reason to do it. This picture is perfect! I just wonder if it will transfer to a tattoo that well as it seems like water paint with its blotchy effect. I love the idea of having such a wonderful and bright tattoo but something contained in a border. It would be a reminder to myself to be brave and experience all life has to offer. Sitting back is not an option. I might have to take this to a tattoo parlour and get a quote. After reading several Tattoo Tuesday posts over at Sometimes Sweet I've come to learn that with something of this complexity, getting the right tattoo artist is a priority. It is with you for life, after all, unless you're rich and want to get it removed. I would be very happy with this one. I'm sure it would take a while and cost a fair bit but it'd be worth it. I like the idea of having tattoos.
