Wednesday Wishes

Finally, I am taking note of the day and can do this post again! It's been a while...

Today I wish that tomorrow I will get my offer from the Uni of Sydney to at least do the Graduate Certificate. I am willing to start there if need be. I want to plan and know my future is secure at the Uni. I can't wait to make plans!

Boots please

I really want to find some great boots to buy and wear tonight but I think it'll be quite impossible. They have to flare out or be worn with thick socks. I have very specific boots needs that I doubt will be fulfilled. Camping store don't have dressy boots. They can have the right specifications but not the right look for a nice Summer dress [I speak like I have many Summer dresses or like I'm a Summer dress person and yet I only have one!]. I'm sad now. I don't know what to wear out to town shoes wise. I know I won't like whatever I wear. I'll have to go via Big W and see if they at least have any wearable flats. Sigh.

I just realised I keep missing Wednesday Wishes. Today it's about boots. It's always about Sydney. And possibly about tattoo's. One day I'll remember.

Mum and I are going for a walk soon. Then I'll get ready and head to Big W, then town to do some shopping. I'll probably go to the Salamanca Markets and visit Holly and check out Christmas presents for my dad with my mum. Then mum and I are going to see The Girl Who Played with Fire at the State Cinema and have Cool Thai for dinner. After that I'll either head to K-Mart to check out shoes [which will probably be a bad idea] or go straight to Sarah's for her birthday bash. I hope I find boots today. Target! Myer!

Wednesday Wishes

I haven't posted for Wednesday Wishes in a while. All I can think about these days is Sydney and getting in. I wrote an email to the Faculty of Arts postgraduate section about when to expect an offer and they arrive either before December or in January. So my Wednesday Wish is that I will hear back about an offer before December. Everything for next year is tied up in receiving an offer. I just wish it to be sooner rather than later. I need some great news right now.

Wednesday Wishes

A long time wish finally came true tonight, and on my birthday of all nights! Since I moved back to Margate 5.5 months ago the internet hasn't been working on my laptop and James had a look at it and after a while he had finally fixed it! It's so great to have it back. He changed some of the settings or something and duh-da! All fixed. Wishes do come true! Sometimes...

Wednesday Wishes

Today an old wish has come true. For years now I have seen people around Hobart with these lovely carved wooden heart necklaces painted red and yesterday Holly said she found some for sale. Today I went and bought 3 with the hope of making 2 into earrings. I have already purchased earring parts but now I just need a connector. I am so happy!

Wednesday Wishes

Today I wish that I will get accepted into the University of Sydney for Museum Studies next year. I can't wait to have my own house and to start living the way I want to. I am under the impression that once I am indeed living in my own house I will do all the little things I would love to do each day but don't do them when living at home. I hate moving because I don't get into those routines. For example: in my new home I would love to get into the habit of drinking water each morning when I wake up [which I hope to be at the same time each morning, say 830am] as it replenishes what you have lost throughout the night. I would also love to get into a jogging/morning exercise routine whilst I'm there. I also want to have a weekly food plan as suggested by Sometimes Sweet. They are just some of the little things I want for but then I have to get into the Uni first so I can start that life over there! I expect, and also wish, that I will meet my future husband over there and once we are in a committed relationship I hope we can go on holidays together. I miss that kind of holiday, the ones Yorick and I took together. That's the kind of holiday I like to go on, one with your significant other. I will wait until then. So please, let me get into the Uni so I can start my life afresh in the beautiful city of Sydney.

Wednesday Wishes

Today I wish for a job just like Oomph, regarding the hours and the clientèle, with with more of the finer details of thebeach all rolled into one. I wish that Nikki would see how it's all wrong, how having one person to cover the floor will always end badly what with getting behind and not always wiping the tables after each customer. It's impossible to do it just as she expects. I wish that the roles of the wait staff will change but I doubt this wish will come true. It's a stupid system but I believe they will keep it as it is. It's sad.

I went shopping in town today and was very successful. I was thinking that I'll have to start taking photographs of my work outfits as I always love seeing that kind of thing on other blogs. I think I will now look the part for Oomph and I like the idea of having work clothes and looking polished. I loved having an excuse to buy new clothes, especially since they are all for the one purpose.

I have been thinking more about special day posts, like Katie's Wednesday Wishes. I think that's very cute. I racked my brains last night while trying to get to sleep about other alliterations. I'm not into Music Monday or Tattoo Tuesday. I like Wednesday Wishes... Friday Fashion? That's the same as daily outfits though. I could post them all on Friday's possibly... It's so hard to think of them.

I will have to spend some time looking in a thesaurus. I'm having trouble with Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Unfortunately that's most of the week's posts. I don't have to have one for each day but it would be nice to have that routine.
