Ramblings
I just went for a walk outside in our gardens. They are very small but it was rather Elizabeth Bennett of me. I can't remember what I was planning to write in here though. It was very windy outside and kept thinking about how much it will be better once I have short hair. No more hair in my face. I think that will be great. I really want to get better. I hate being sick like this. It's horrible. Work tonight will be good though. I like work there, especially when I haven't been in a while. Hopefully I get a sickness cure soon.

Baby Etta
My brother and his wife had their first child yesterday at 419am. I can't believe it. It's still so surreal but they are going to be fantastic parents and already are. James is so cute towards their little girl, Etta Joy O'Regan. He calls her 'kiddo' and I love seeing him like that. He has a daughter. It's so insane. I can't comprehend it. I love that they have a family though. I'm jealous. I want my own little family. I have to find my future husband first though, then settle down and have kids and a great house with French doors and balconies. I also need to get my Masters in Museum Studies and become a Museum Curator. I wonder how that will all go. I've been sick for a week now and it's not so fun. I will head to bed soon and watch lots of TV then try to get an early night. I'm bad with my sleeping patterns. I go to my bedroom and watch lots of episodes of a TV series then end up turning it off by 1am. I need to go to bed earlier. It's hard though. Going to be used to be fun as I had Yorick next to me but not anymore. I don't want him as such, just my future husband to spend my life with. I miss the company sometimes but not hugely. I'm doing fine.

May already?
Monday, Monday. I'm sick at the moment and I think it's a result of my outing on Thursday with Emma. Totally worth it. I wonder when I'll get better though. I'm not sick that often so I don't mind it really but sometimes I feel awkward sniffing in front of others.
Work was good over the weekend. I enjoy talking to Dom, a new worker there, and I'm glad we're both taken because sometimes it seems like we're flirting. I know I'm not, although it might seem like I am, but it's nice to know we're protected by having a partner. When boys have liked me in the past and haven't had girlfriends, I've felt so strange about it and didn't want to be near them anymore. It hasn't happened much but I like talking to Dom. I think our relationship has the potential to become a friendship. My first male friend! I need one of those. I look forward to my shifts with him. Sometimes I find myself trying to separate the friendship from a bond that has a sexual emphasis. I try to think how I'd act and what I'd say to a new female friend and go from there. I've never had my own male friend before so it's a bit confusing at times, that's why I confuse it with flirting when I don't think it is.
Stuff with Yorick isn't changing. We're not hugging or kissing so I'm eager to find out how things will be once we're separated house-wise. I'm also getting excited about getting a tattoo with Emma and Holly soon. Holly said she usually goes to someone in Melbourne so that might be a little holiday we can all take, unless there is someone here that can do a good job. Mine won't be very big but I wouldn't want it to be stuffed up.
The house is slowly reducing in its contents. On Wednesday we'll have a big moving out session and hopefully all our things will be gone by the weekend so we can clean then. Something to look forward to I suppose!
I have to go and finish an assignment then head to Zum for my regular hot chocolate and apple and cinnamon muffin before driving up to Launceston so I might get off the computer, then come and watch some more Lost before heading out.

Home at last
I'm getting $190 from Centrelink this fortnight. It's a good thing it's free money. I'm hoping that less hours for me means more money from them. I'll test it out soon. I should try only 10 hours. This week I did 30.5 and last week it was 25.25 so I'll cut that down and see what happens. Yorick earns $100 too much. He doesn't care though. Grr.
I'm feeling crappy tonight. I just came back from Launceston as per usual on a Tuesday and all the way home I had tummy cramps [I love to call them kidney pains] and a headache. Not so fun. I'm glad I'm home though. Now I'm just really hungry.

Sick
My mum is great. She called me up this morning to talk with me about getting me some more food tomorrow. She's going to bring me a fair bit and already gave me some last night. I'm still in my financial crisis. I have no money. By the time rent goes out and I account for petrol, my $30 flute lesson, and getting up and back from Launceston, I usually have nothing left. This is not good. I really need Centrelink.
I've been feeling sick lately, with a constant half-headache and "stuffy" head. It's been here since Monday. Class in the morning got me feeling like this, which it usually doesn't, and then I got the bus up to Launceston in the evening and I felt even worse then to the point of thinking I might actually vomit [I didn't. I'm glad because it scares me]. The drive back with Angela on Tuesday kept me feeling the same. I thought I would feel better after a sleep but it was still there. I went to dinner last night [Wednesday] and still felt the same. Mum and I talked about why it could be. We discussed my bad diet, stress, not having regular exercise [which she suggested I fix by going for a 15 minute brisk walk on study breaks] and this impacting or contributing to my constant bad skin. I really hope this goes away soon. I just went on a walk to the Signal Station and back but I don't feel any better. I'm glad I went but I still have a funny head.
At least I studied this morning. I have been a bit behind in one of my classes [Law] but listened to some of the lectures this morning. I'm feeling good about that but still overwhelmed because I still have so much work to do. Yikes!
